The Women’s Triangle Recovery House is a non-profit organization located in Madisonville, Kentucky geared towards helping women re-enter society instead of returning to the way of life that initiated their downfall. We believe our responsibility is to bring faith where there is despair, hope where there is darkness, and love where there is injury and scars no one can see.
Our experience has shown us that addicts and alcoholics are some of the most spiritually thirsty people in the world. This thirst can only be quenched through the formation of a loving relationship with God and others. Over the past several years, we have seen hundreds of women released from jail only to be sent back in a few short months. These women had one thing in common — they returned to the same environment from which they had been removed. Because these women lacked faith, hope, love and fundamental living skills, they were merely surviving life emotionally and mentally, and they remained spiritually empty. Under these circumstances, they had had few choices and no chance to change.
The Women’s Triangle Recovery House will provide females eighteen (18) years of age or older, who are in recovery from the disease of alcohol and/or drug addiction, a structured and secure living environment. They will be surrounded with unconditional love, emotional support, spiritual guidance and encouragement to pursue their dreams through and education.
They will become responsible, productive members of society.
